• John Campbell

John Campbell was one of the first lawyers in BC to complete the Family Mediation program and he became certified to act as a mediator in family disputes in 1986.  John is also an accredited arbitrator and he draws on his training and experience in both arbitration and mediation techniques and procedures to assist his family law clients in finding solutions that work for their particular family circumstances.

If custody of children is involved, mediation creates a new relationship, which keeps the channels of communication open. The mediation process is less intimidating than appearing before the courts, and compliance with an agreed settlement is more certain because both parties have been involved in creating the solution.

The offices and boardroom at Campbell Burton & McMullan LLP are available in Langley as a neutral location for mediation meetings.
